One credit is spent per email address that gets validated — regardless of the result. If an email comes back invalid, that still consumed one credit, since the check itself was performed. The one exception: if a validation job fails due to a provider-side error on our end, unused credits for that batch are refunded automatically.
No. Credits you purchase stay on your account indefinitely — there’s no monthly reset or use-it-or-lose-it clock.
CSV and TXT files, or you can paste addresses directly into the app. We auto-detect the email column in CSVs (looking for headers like "email", "Email", or "e-mail"), strip duplicates, trim whitespace, and lowercase everything before validation starts.
Up to 100,000 emails per upload. Larger lists are processed in batches in the background, so there’s no request timeout to worry about — you’ll get a notification when the job finishes.
